What is one to do when the world becomes a burnt and decimate version of its self? Ryker Blackrayne figured it was time to step-up and build something that was all his own. Maybe fill it with family…and friends.

And that is what he did.

Zion was a city of its names meaning. A new beginning…a place where all could live in safety, and without prejudice...no matter what they choose. Ryker was different, and had been since he was a human. Now that he was a shifter, he has not changed. Much to the disappointment of his creator, he was never truly himself when with a woman. Haven, the wolf that changed him, did everything in her power to force him to want her.

His escape was not epic, but it was the only way he would survive, but to what end. The Veil took the earth’s beauty and scorched it beyond repair…making the human race the new minority of the world. Ryker is Immortal, and it is more or less a promise of everlasting life. However, what is a life without people to enjoy it with you.

Alaric Chance will be his life-line. Even though his demons are strong...their bond is unbreakable.
